Description
The red color of this tea bowl is the clay color. Firing in a climbing kiln using pine split wood, respectively the color of each bowl changes.
Most of the time, the works I pick up are those that have a well-defined "Kase " pattern, like the fawn spots, or the ones that show beautiful scenery with a variety of colors, from red to brown to gray. Sometimes, however, I come across a tea bowl never let go of my mind, despite the subtle differences in color.
The most typical Chawan is this, the pale gradation of red, and the reserved pattern of Kase is also a charm that keeps me devoted to.
This kind of tea bowl is usually fired near the bottom of the kiln, far from the fire. It is showing gentle and quiet expression, different from the gorgeous and breathtaking beauty. Sometimes I don't even notice it right away, even when setting out from the kiln after firing. But once picking it up, I can't help but pour my love into it.
