Guinomi ”Sake cup” ,Geppaku,Overglaze Gold , Hosai XVI

The combination of the Geppaku glaze and gold that I have been absorbed in since my mind changed during the time of the Corona disaster. As I try to create them, I found my own way of keeping the distance with the unusual material of gold. Someone once told me, "There is a beauty that is created when you combine and harmonize two different things," and I have kept it in my mind. In the style of Geppaku with overglazed gold, especially conscious of that word. When I began to create this style, I had the idea to make Guinomi sake cups as well. I have been working only on tea bowls for a while, I finally got to produce Guinomi in these days.
